General Information

  • Start & Finish

Main gathering point for all runners will be Al Hussein Sports City, gate number 3.

Starting point and time will as he following:

Finish point will be at the Greater Amman Municipality.

            Please note that the starting time of the Amman International Marathon will take place on Friday October 28th according to the new local winter time.

  • Transportation
  • Buses will be available to shuttle the Marathon runners (42.195 KM)  to their starting points.
  • 10 KM runners will walk to the starting point from the gathering point.
  • Buses will be available at the celebration area for all participants to be shuttled to the gathering point.
  • Parking

You can park your car at Al Hussein Sports City where there will be clearly marked designated area

  • What’s after registration .. Packet Pick Up
  • Every runner must collect his/her Running Packet between October 23 and October 27, from 12:00 noon till 09:00 pm, at the marathon Village located in King Hussein Park.
  • Please make sure to bring your identification receipt upon registration in order to get your packet.
  • Finish Line

All participants will receive a finisher medal at the finish line

  • Celebration Area and Entertainment

Live bands , DJs and kids entertainment in addition to food and refreshment stations will be present at the Celebration Area.

  • Water Stations

Water Stations will be available every 2.5 Km from 5 Km to 40 Km.

  • Toilets

Toilets will be available at the Start and Celebration and every 5 Km.

  • Medical

Medical will be available at the Finish Point and will be standby all the day.

  • Race Day Temperature

The minimum average temperature in October is 14°C / 57°F while the maximum average temperature is 81°C / 26°F.

  • Baggage Facilities

Trucks will be available at the starting point. Please make sure to attach your running number into your pack.

  • Special prices for all groups from schools, universities and companies
  • Registration fee includes: Race entry, timing chip, race BIB and official race bag and T-shirt 
  • All participants must place the bib number on the front side of the T-shirt and fix the timing chip on their shoes. Participants must follow entrance instruction in order to become official runners.
  • Timing chip should be returned at the Finish Line
